The Urban League of Hudson County is hosting the discussion "Mind Your Business: Dealing With Stress in Communities of Color" on Feb. 19 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 253 Martin Luther King Jr. in Jersey City.

The in depth discussion will touch on navigating through everyday stressors that affect communities of color. Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MSW, LCSW and Director of Community Service
Alliance Community Health Tracie Meyers will serve as host.

"This lack of knowledge leads many to believe that a mental health condition is a personal weakness," Urban League officials said. "Minorities are reluctant to discuss mental health issues and seek treatment because of the shame and stigma associated with such conditions."

The event is free and open to the public. Go to Eventbrite to register.
