Jazzy Nights salutes Black History Month with musical celebration

Jazzy Nights is hosting a "Black History Month Musical Celebration" on Feb. 13 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at The Fox and Falcon restaurant and bar located in the Essex Room at 19 Valley Street in South Orange.

The show will highlight the poetry of Langston Hughes, gospel music, swing and bee bop and 60s Protest Era music. Vocalists Lynette Sheard, Wendy Brown, Ellla Brown will perform backed by the house band comprised of Darryl Clark on bass, Brianne Ford and piano and Eddie Brown on drums.
