Black pols attend NJ Legislative Black Caucus Gala in New Brunswick

Over 500 people attended the recent NJ Legislative Black Caucus' "Black Excellence Gala" at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick. 

The annual gala was hosted by the New Jersey Legislative Black Caucus, New Jersey Legislative Black Caucus Foundation and the New Jersey Statewide Black Elected Officials Political Alliance. The event serves as a fundraiser for interns in legislative and local offices. The theme for this year's gala was "Honoring Trailblazers of History and our Future." 

Among those in attendance were Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver, Plainfield MayorAdrian O. Mapp, Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin, Democratic State Party Chairman John Currie and Legislative Back Caucus Chairman Ronald L. Rice.
