Joint Committee hearing to focus on creating opportunities for women and minorities in business

The Joint Committee on Economic Justice and Equal Employment Opportunity held a hearing on Tuesday to discuss New Jersey’s efforts to foster opportunities to advance women and minorities in the workforce.

The committee, co-chaired by Senator Ron Rice (D-Essex) and Assemblyman Benjie Wimberly (D-Bergen, Passiac) heard testimony from invited guests, including Hester Agudosi of Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Dale G. Caldwell, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Robert L. Green, National Association of Investment Companies, John Harmon, African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey and Malik Murray, Ariel Investments.
